Interpretation: Player Engagement vs Org Data
Star Citizen has a registered account base of approximately 5,755,692 players (as of June 2025).
Yet, only 525,691 of these players are found in organizations with 7 or more members—roughly 9.1% of the total.
However, this number does not reflect the true proportion of engaged or potential org members, due to several
key factors:
Many accounts are inactive or belong to backers who no longer play.
Multiple alt accounts are often created to gain referral bonuses, inflating the registered player count.
Some players prefer solo play or loosely coordinated groups without formal org affiliation.
New players may not yet have discovered or explored the organization system.
Conclusion: While raw numbers suggest that 91% of players are unaffiliated, the active and recruitable
community is likely significantly higher. The data highlights both a huge untapped potential and the importance of building orgs that are welcoming, active, and visible.
